Volt, designed for simplified service.
Thermo-Pane Insulation
Catalina uses Thermo-pane for maximum energy efficiency.
Enclosed air space is the best insulator, that's why
dual-pane windows are so effective. The Thermo-pane
system uses 2LB and 5LB closed cell foam insulation
on the entire shell and Spa cabinet walls to create
an air space that manages heat energy more efficiently
than any other insulating technology. Constructed on
a firm foundation. We use ½", premium grade
tongue and groove mahogany to hand craft a fine furniture
quality cabinet around your Spa. Mahogany not only looks
great, but is stronger and weathers better then redwood
cabinets. Catalina first starts with a 2 x 4 pressure
treated frame base construction and 2 x 4 on the sides
of the Spa for long term stability and unibody construction.
Altra Bond ™
Catalina features Altra Bond ™ construction with
a special vinyl Esther barrier which means the layers
of fiberglass and acrylic are bonded together to assure
structural integrity and years of dependable use. To
further ensure durability, we exclusively use the finest
cast acrylic surface available.
